Washington DC – To celebrate US Vice President Kamala Harris’s claims of working at McDonald’s in her youth whilst living in Canada, the ubiquitous fast-food restaurant is releasing a new burger and meal.
The McKamala burger is made of one piece of fried chicken and coleslaw in a charcoal burger bun. The meal comes with small fries and a small soda even if one has paid for an upsize.
“We are proud to release a burger to celebrate the vice president’s time with us or something,” said McDonald’s spokesperson Tess Porkers, “not that I can find any record of it. Whatever. It’s a nice burger.”
Harris loves the burger.
“It’s important that my personal history involves this great franchise,” she said, “something to appeal to humble fast-food restaurant workers as well as corporate domination. And the fried chicken and black buns are important too, cos I’m black.”
Harris admits that maybe she “should have picked KFC” but regardless just wants “a bit of wine” with the meal.
