Steady pacing, but plot needs to be move faster. Looks good. Nothing outright wrong with it but nothing great either.

As a prequel, it is different but is fitting enough to the Macross universe. Nice designs and is one of the earlier anime works to use extensive CG. It can look better but decent effort.

The mains characters split up so this season can feel unfocused, but this is mitigated somewhat by the quick pacing. Visually, it saves the budget for set pieces in the latter half of the season.

Macross 7 has one of the most annoying main characters ever. And this is not helped by the poor pacing, dated visuals and the same song being used over and over again. The ideas are mostly good but at 49 episodes, it simply drags. If nothing else, some of these ideas set up the premise for subsequent series.

Despite some silliness, it is surprisingly entertaining and enjoyable.

Mildly sci-fi action-thriller. Has its problems but a straightforward and enjoyable action-thriller with good main characters.

Spy thriller with a guy who can’t shoot, which is refreshing. Solidly produced. Steady pacing. Some elements can be better developed; definitely not a bad film but nothing spectacular either.

Dark and gritty CG anime film. Mostly looks good but the storytelling tries to be way bigger than it is and so comes across as cheap.

Lacks plot and focus. Has elements of action, thriller and drama, but manages to be none of them.

Very contrived way to get Arisu and Usagi back to Borderland. Well-produced but is more like an afterthought featuring material that should have been done in the first place.
