Short and tight series. A little unfocused at first, somewhat children-orientated but also too dark for it to be. Still, mostly satisfying.

Robert McCall is shot and needs time to recover in a picturesque Italian town. Takes too long to build and not enough action.

Set 15 years after Revival, a team of synths attempts to retrieve an Alien sample. Lacks the more refined execution of the previous volumes.

Whilst not a bad effort overall, they are nothing great. A few are recommended.

A sufficiently satisfying conclusion. Despite the long runtime, it actually doesn’t drag.

Revival collects Issues 7 to 12 and is set two years after the events of Bloodlines.

Set in 2200—about twenty-one years after the film Aliens—this story follows Gabriel Cruz, a security veteran for Weyland-Yutani.

Terminator-like time paradox. Moderately intriguing. Poor execution, inadequately explained plot points and devices.

Amusing series as the main character is dragged into the webtoon world. Excessive plot conveniences but still enjoyable.

Somewhat predictable. Tries too hard to look cool at times. Good voice acting (Japanese). Not bad but nothing great. Overhyped.

Robocopped team tries to take down criminal organization. Overly simplistic and cheesy. Plot and characters lack dimension.

Vigilantes solve and fight crime. Generally good pacing, acting and production, making an entertaining and satisfying series.

Unlocked is basically another Taken-like action-thriller. Nothing particularly bad but nothing particularly good either.

Another game show survival thriller. Although generally predictable, it is amusing. Good production but I wouldn’t rave about it.

Police state. Labor camps. Fake news. Scripted reality-shows. Heavy surveillance. Brainwashed population.

A “revenge” K-drama version of Infernal Affairs with more action and violence.

One expects this to be a short, no-brainer, action-packed, light entertainment. And that’s what it mostly is.

This sequel is a more focused story, so it is not as fun but it is still a decent, enjoyable film.
