Death Star (GNS) – Grand Moff Tarkin on Thursday appointed a special counsel to investigate Princess Leia Organa’s handling of classified imperial documents.
Tarkin tapped Lord Vader, who is highly experienced in dealing with the Empire’s security breaches, to handle the investigation.
The Department of Imperial Justice escalated to a special counsel investigation after a second batch of classified documents was found in Princess Leia’s hangar where her ship Tantive IV was docked.
“I am confident Lord Vader will execute his responsibilities in an urgent but even-handed manner, and in accordance with established procedures of the Empire,” said Tarkin.
Princess Leia’s lawyers said that the Department of Imperial Justice was immediately informed about the documents and that no one had read them. “It’s not like I’d share them with my twin brother or someone,” said Leia. “We’re not incestuous like some families.”
Lord Vader was last reported to have boarded a star destroyer, rumored to be searching for Tantive IV and the princess.
According to a high-level imperial officer speaking on the condition of anonymity, “I don’t know what other administrations do, but if one truly stole classified imperial documents, we hunt them down and retrieve the material with prejudice.”
