Tinian Airfield Progressing

In September 2024, it was reported that the USAF was rebuilding the airfield on Tinian where the B-29 bombers took off to drop the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, in August 1945.
Recent satellite imagery shows that the work on the abovementioned airfield on the northern tip is progressing well (second image).
Also note that the existing international airport (TIQ) further south is being worked on, albiet at a seemingly slower pace.
