Polish PM Tusk: Ukraine Suffers 27,000 Casualties per Month

A few weeks ago, Kyrylo Budanov of Ukraine admitted to needing no “fewer than 30,000 people a month” to maintain their numbers for the conflict/war with Russia.

On Thursday, Polish PM Donald Tusk revealed in a speech in parliament that Ukraine has suffered 27,000 casualties per month.

“Recently, 27,000 people have been killed and wounded per month, and these are, of course, unfortunately, in the saddest sense of the word, records in this war. With this trend, winter in Ukraine could indeed be disastrous.”

I am not sure how Tusk came to know this and the number includes both killed and wounded, so the number of KIA is unknown. But it does corroborate the numbers floating around thus far.

Of course, instead of taking the deal—the latest being a proposal from POTUS to halt strikes on energy infrastructure—Ukraine has hit Russian oil refineries and has reportedly taken a shot at the Kursk nuclear power plant.

Yeah, let’s see how well that goes.
