The Mineshaft Gap

Russia is reportedly producing mobile bomb shelters which is not surprising given the events of the past thirty years, including President Putin having just officially approved an update to their nuclear doctrine that was discussed since at least September.

This isn’t Russia’s first or only effort regarding bomb shelters as they have been (re)building them since at least 2016—you know, when Hillary was talking about imposing no-fly zones in Syria (with Russian assets already based there) and Russia threatened to nuke the US.

Meanwhile, has the West been building or rebuilding their shelters?

Finland already has them and Germany is thinking about adding to the few they have.

But what about the likes of the US, UK, France and Australia?

Hmm… I think there may be a mineshaft gap.
