Washington DC – Elon Musk has testified at the US House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack public hearings, claiming that at least 50% of the rioting insurrectionists were bots.
“There were a lot of people there that day and there were all types,” said Musk, “but of the troublemakers, at least 50% were bots of one sort or another.”
Vice-chair of the committee Liz Cheney said Musk’s presence was “actually quite disruptive” and his claims “unfounded and preposterous”.
“We’re trying to push our narrative here,” said Cheney. “And Mr Musk is not helping.”
“I was actually trying to get to court regarding my Twitter case,” said Musk. “Not sure how I ended up in DC. My self-driving Tesla is just not working well. But still, while I’m here… may as well tell it as it is.
Amongst other claims, Musk indicated that at least 50% of the committee staff are also bots. “Especially that Adam Schiff, cos he just looks like a shifty c—.”
