Church Excommunicates New Sound Mixer for Laughing Out Loud

St Paul, MN – Re-re-reformed Lutheran Church has again excommunicated their new sound mixer, the replacement for the one they had excommunicated last month for being too slow.

Jimmy reportedly laughed out loud every time the vocalist started singing.

“At first, when he laughed during rehearsal, we didn’t really mind,” said Daniel, the bass guitarist. “It’s ok to have a laugh during rehearsal.”

However, Jimmy laughed out loud as soon as the first song started during the service.

According to multiple churchgoers, the new sound mixer laughed at every subsequent song even before the end of the first bar of singing.

“We may not have the best singers,” said church council member Rod Träge, “and the occasional chuckle is understandable, but laughing at every song and through the interlude and five repeats of the chorus of the last song is too much.”

“He also laughed through my sermon,” said the pastor, “even though I mostly wasn’t trying to be funny.”

One witness, however, was surprised that anyone was actually listening to the sermon.
