Nicely produced with execellent art. The story is not bad even if it is more of the same: the Foot it gone but there are rival gangs, corrupt government and police, and a new player our heroes have to deal with.

As a prequel, it is different but is fitting enough to the Macross universe. Nice designs and is one of the earlier anime works to use extensive CG. It can look better but decent effort.

Struggling actor role-plays for a rental family company. Positive but not too lighthearted. Solid performances and measured pacing. Amusing and entertaining.

Continuation of the same strengths and weaknesses. Visually slick and well-produced. Insufficient character development and depth when there is the opportunity to do so.

Macross 7 has one of the most annoying main characters ever. And this is not helped by the poor pacing, dated visuals and the same song being used over and over again. The ideas are mostly good but at 49 episodes, it simply drags. If nothing else, some of these ideas set up the premise for subsequent series.

Starts a bit slow and the villains are too simplistic. Conclusion is too rushed but is overall not a bad thriller-drama with some effective tension.

Not bad sci-fi dystopian film based on the novel. The pacing suffers in the final act but it is an interesting premise. Looks good, nice set designs.

A young woman wants revenge against her father via shogi. Characters lack complexity and some things are resolved too quickly, but it is well-produced with strongly established lead characters and the series is tight.

Nicely shot and intriguing film about life in a village surrounded by forbidden woods.
