Denmark Begins Conscripting Women

From 1 July 2025, Denmark has begun conscription of women once they turn 18 years of age. Like the men, they will enter a lottery system.

Rah! Equal rights!

Well, it’s not painted that way exactly.

It’s the increasing threats, apparently… you know, from Eastern Europe.

Denmark, to be fair, is not the biggest culprit but it’s good to know a NATO country is resorting to conscripting women for a problem they have in part created.

Either way, not to worry, Denmark hopes to raise the annual number of newbies to 6,500 by 2033.

Which roles these newbies will be assigned to is another question but I am sure (freeing up) half a division will achieve wonders against Russians if they ever try something.
