Australian PM Pushing for Takedown of Government Backstabbing Footage

Canberra, ACT – In the aftermath of the knife attack at an Assyrian church in Sydney, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called for the takedown of the footage because social media has a “social responsibility”.

“As someone holding office, I know I can’t really talk about ‘social responsibility’,” said Albanese, “but we can’t have stabbings spreading on social media.”

It is, however, not the graphic nature of the footage that is of concern to the prime minister.

“I mean, if we allow this, then it means people can post all the backstabbing the government does to the country,” he said. “And we can’t have that kind of misinformation, especially if it involves picture of me. I’m just a tool. Of the deep state, I mean, so it’s not fair.”

The office of the Australian eSafety Commissioner agrees: “We will not tolerate that kind of intolerance and hate spreading online. The only stabbings we allow are vaccinations because they are safe and effective.”
