Slice-of-life fantasy romance and coming-of-age story. Moderately arty, mostly looks great. Short and simple, but too simple.

Back to (mostly) anime. More consistent than the previous two seasons.

Dark and gritty CG anime film. Mostly looks good but the storytelling tries to be way bigger than it is and so comes across as cheap.

Drama-comedy about a rookie cop learning the ropes. Has good balance between being half-realistic and being comical. Solidly produced.

A 12-episode slice-of-life series of three-minute vignettes. The writing can be better, but it’s not that bad if one doesn’t mind risking half an hour.

Boy and his mother in an online fantasy game. Crude but not as superficial as one may expect. Fails to reach its potential as both the comedy and themes can go further. But motherhood is lifted up and celebrated.

Nothing spectacular but continues to be a well-produced and fun show with ridiculous action.

Plotting is a little clumsy in parts but still a sufficiently intriguing and captivating psychological horror. Solidly produced. Mostly looks good.

Intriguing utopian-dystopian premise and setting in which the boy has to leave the utopian city and go underground. Well-produced but the plot lacks substance and is somewhat bland.

Good production but lacks an intriguing plot. There are a few cool scenes but not enough.

Busload of people want to escape the world and start over in a hidden village. Intriguing premise but inconsistent tone and messy structure. If one expects a dark, gritty and trippy psychological mystery-horror, then one will be disappointed.

As expected, the rendering and animation have improved. But still meh.

Mostly looks good. Doesn’t try as hard as Volume 1, which is a good thing, but nothing great apart from “Bad Travelling” and “Jibaro”.

Dark sci-fi cyberpunk set in a vast, lifeless cityscape in the distant future. Looks good. Not a bad story. Solid worldbuilding.
