Arlington, VA – President Trump announced on Friday that the development and manufacture of the Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) platform has been awarded to Boeing.
“The F-47 is gonna be great,” said the president, “there’s never been anything even close to it. And rest assured, it won’t be painted pink or some gay color.”
There are, however, questions of cost and Boeing’s ability to deliver on time.
“I appreciate that,” said Trump, “I guess I’ll just have to sic Elon on them if they go over budget. And let’s be honest, Lockheed Martin has the messed-up F-35 so now it’s Boeing’s turn.”
Other concerns have been voiced by ordnance currently in service.
The union for the AIM-120 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile issued a statement: “Our members fear for their safety as they’re designed to explode over the intended target, not drop out of the plane prematurely because the weapons bay doors fall off.”
