It seems like Biden isn’t the only one who wants to go door-to-door. Our friends from down under “won’t hesitate” to follow suit for testing purposes.
Below is the partial response Premier Dan Andrews of Victoria, Australia, gave when asked about testing for COVID on August 13. (Start from about 56:00 of the video below.)
We’re not at a point where we need to be going door-to-door, we’re not at a point where we need entire suburbs to come out and get tested. If we get to that stage, then we won’t hesitate. I think we’ve shown… in fact, I know we’ve shown, err, that we’re prepared to do what has to be done, popular or otherwise, um, logistically easy or otherwise. We’ve, we’ve done it many, many times. And we’ll do it again if we have to.
If that doesn’t convince you that psychopaths are running the world, then also consider the inconsistency in that idea. Going by the current playbook, if the case numbers rise to what is perceived to be a dangerous level, then there is a lockdown. This means stay at home with the exception of a few reasons.
So what’s the point of testing “entire suburbs”? If I am supposed to be safe at home, why would I want to go out and be amongst other people? Or if testers come to my door, why would I want to open the door for them? I am much safer at home than being around the testers who have been hanging around others testing them. I am more likely to get something from the testers.
“Hodor.”
