Film ● Mini-Review: John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum
Title: John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum
Director(s): Chad Stahelski
Screenwriter(s): Derek Kolstad
Released: 2019
Runtime: 2h 11m

● This directly continues on from the previous chapter (film). John Wick is running away from anyone who wants to literally have a shot at him. Meanwhile, Winston at the Continental is in trouble for helping Wick, being visited by a High Table Adjudicator. She also enlists an assassin named Zero to help her out.
● In some ways, it is more of the same. Reeves shows his age in some scenes by being a little clumsy in hand-to-hand fights although there are some cool pistol gunfights with Sofia (Halle Berry). More of the mythology is shown, such as the High Table and The Elder.
● The inclusion of assault rifles in the end is nice, except that it looks like it’s all about shooting at full-auto which is a bit boring. The use of CG for debris and the bike scene on the bridge is impressive. One can tell but it is difficult at times.
