Dark steampunk zombie. Great worldbuilding, visuals and soundtrack. Decent pacing but too many plot conveniences.

The mains characters split up so this season can feel unfocused, but this is mitigated somewhat by the quick pacing. Visually, it saves the budget for set pieces in the latter half of the season.

Entertaining series. Some visual elements are a bit jarring but generally well-produced. It is funny, but can be funnier. Tries a little too hard to be edgy. Grounded by the friendship between the two lead characters.

High school student gets dragged into a war between sorcerers. Plot-driven and fast-paced action-packed dark fantasy. Solid production.
