● Martin Harris (Liam Neeson) and his wife Liz (January Jones) are in Berlin for a conference. Since he left something behind at the airport, he takes a taxi but gets involved in an accident that puts him in hospital. Waking up a few later, he finds that another man has taken his place and even his wife does not recognize him.
● I wouldn’t classify this as a Taken clone but I include it because it has Liam Neeson playing the main role, it has elements of a thriller and it is moderately dark.
● The first half of the film is executed well enough. It is intriguing and trippy. Martin Harris is very much alone; not only does no one believe him but there is another guy in his place. When one begins to realize what the so-called twist is, one then realizes that it is hardly an original idea and the film then comes across as a bit cheap.
