This post includes figures from the US and Europe, particularly the European Economic Area (EEA). Please note the different dates.
According to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS): as of 7 May 2021, there have been 192,954 adverse events reported for all COVID-19 “vaccines” in the US. This includes 4,057 deaths (2.1% of reported adverse events).
The reports can be called up at vaers.hhs.gov/data.html and medalerts.org/vaersdb/index.php. There is some variation in the figures between the two platforms. The below screenshot is from the latter.
As of 7 May 2021, 254.78 million doses have been administered in the US. This figure is for doses, not the number of vaccinees since some people require two doses. Below is some back-of-the-envelope math.
192,954 adverse events for 254,780,000 doses: ~75.7 adverse events per 100,000 doses, or 1 adverse event per 1,320 doses.
According to the European Database of Suspected Adverse Drug Reaction Reports, the below are the number of reported adverse events with their corresponding “vaccine” as of 15 May 2021 in the EEA:
Astrazeneca – 99,445.
Moderna – 15,575.
Pfizer-Biontech (Tozinameran) – 140,500.
The reports can be called up at www.adrreports.eu/en/background.html. Other vaccines have been used but at significantly lower numbers.
As of 14 May 2021, the below are the doses administered in the EEA:
Astrazeneca – 47,953,371.
Moderna – 18,956,525.
Pfizer-Biontech (Tozinameran) – 140,355,442.
Below are some back-of-the-envelope calculations. (Note the one-day difference given the availability of stats.)
Astrazeneca – 99,445 adverse events for 47,953,371 doses: ~207.4 adverse events per 100,000 doses, or 1 adverse event per 482 doses.
Moderna – 15,575 adverse events for 18,956,525 doses: ~82.2 adverse events per 100,000 doses, or 1 adverse event per 1,217 doses.
Pfizer-Biontech (Tozinameran) – 140,500 adverse events for 140,355,442 doses: ~100.1 adverse events per 100,000 doses, or 1 adverse event per 999 doses.
Compare the above to the supposedly safe MMR vaccine: ~5 adverse events per 100,000 doses or ~1 adverse event per 20,000 doses.
Many people have expressed their suspicions that the number of adverse events is much greater than the available figures. There are reasons for those suspicions but since I am in no position to get the real numbers, the reported figures are all I have to go on. The point I am trying to make is that even accepting the available figures, they are embarrassing. In any other vaccine where there is 1 adverse event per 1,200 doses, heads would have rolled.
